We have a diverse band of broodmares which we feel will offer a foal crop that can go anywhere a person would want to take them.
Achie is a registered appendix AQHA mare who started her career on the track. She is very nice to ride, very light and quick. We lost her 2006 foal(s) twins, but are looking forward to this years baby out of our stallion Painted Jac.
Our tobiano mare is double bred Biankus with Printer's Devil on the top side. She threw a beautiful bay tobiano filly in 2005 with Painted Jac and we are going to be checking the filly's progress at the Verdino Ranch this year. Aly on a Fox (Snip) is our newest mare and besides being in foal to Painted Jac she is also being hauled and patterned on the barrels. She is showing great promise and in between babies we will continue her training. Our thanks to M & J Paint Horses for allowing her to join our herd!
Rita Budha (Seniorita) may well be past her breeding years at age 24. We may try one more year since she is not just a Doc Bar grandaughter but also a Poco Dell grandaughter. We have not successfully had a foal for the last two years. She has however been teaching the kids what it is like to ride a mare that has been there and done all that and more. Once an NFR heel horse, she has also competed heavily in High School and college rodeo. We thank the Van Horne's and DeLongs for letting her join our family!
